Panoramic Tour in Ordino Arcalís
The Tristaina cable car is one of the attractions of Ordino Arcalís in summer. With a length of 1,600 metres, the cable car ride offers unforgettable panoramic views during the 10-minute journey. The arrival area, called "Coma d'Arcalís", is the starting point for one of the most emblematic excursions, the Tristaina Lakes. From the same point you can also access the new Tristaina Sundial Lookout. All you have to do is follow the route with the Creussans chairlift and walk a few metres to the Peyreguils Peak. We assure you that the reward is extraordinary.
With an investment costing around 6 million euros, this state-of-the-art installation can carry up to 1,000 people an hour. It has 20 cars, which can be increased to 31, raising the capacity to 1,600 people an hour. Each car seats 10 people.
Although the cable car is named after the Tristaina peak and glacial cirque, it doesn't actually reach this zone, which remains an unspoilt mountain area, and instead goes to La Coma de Arcalís.
