In these guided activities you can discover the surprising landscape transformed by the change of season in Ordino Arcalís. The meadows, rivers and lakes come to life more than ever. 

 

E-bike getaways

This activity will not be available this summer 2023.

Ordino Arcalís offers two guided electric bike routes that are perfect for exploring an amazing natural environment.
 

Portelles route

This route starts from La Coma and stops off at some characteristic spots of Ordino Arcalís. Depending on your level, you can cycle up to Portelles. End the day with a visit to the Tristaina solar viewpoint.

  • Difficulty: low-medium
  • Departure time: 10 a.m. and 12 p.m.
  • Meeting point: Activities Centre, next to Creussans chairlift.

Sorteny route

Visit Sorteny natural park and the core area of the Ordino biosphere reserve. This is an opportunity to get to know one of the richest areas for flora and plant species in the Andorran Pyrenees. Sorteny refuge serves Andorran cuisine in an unbeatable setting.

  • Difficulty: medium
  • Start to finish times:  12 p.m. to 4.30 p.m.
  • Meeting point: Activities Centre, next to Creussans chairlift.

Trek Viewpoint

This activity will not be available this summer 2023.

Do you like exploring nature? The Tristaina solar viewpoint is a must-visit during your summer holidays in Andorra. Located at an altitude of 2,701 metres, it offers incredible views of the Ordino valley and the Tristaina lakes. There are several guided routes, categorized according to difficulty level.

 

Three lakes route

Verdaguer route

A route based on the visit of the Catalan poet Jacint Verdaguer, whose journey to explore the Catalan Pyrenees led him in search of landscapes, folklore, and legends that would provide him with inspiration. 

  • Difficulty: low-medium
  • Departure time: at 10 a.m. and 12 p.m.
  • Meeting point: Activities Centre, next to Creussans chairlift.

Circular route

Discover from close-up the Tristaina lakes, a group of high-mountain glacial lakes. Don’t miss the chance to admire the beauty of the lakes and the valley from the viewpoint.

  • Meeting point: Activities Centre, next to Creussans chairlift.

Ascent to Cataperdís

Be bold and climb to an altitude of 2,804 metres. Get your strength back afterwards with a meal at La Coma and end the day with unique views from the viewpoint. A complete experience for people always looking for something extra.

Mountain guides in Andorra

Andorra’s mountain guides help you discover new places and routes during the summer months. If the winter snow keeps you from exploring unknown mountain locations, in the next few months you will finally get to do so with the help of our guides.

Excursions with Grandvalira Mountain Guides (GMG) can be done with friends, groups, or individually. Each one is tailored to the level and physical fitness of the participants.
